San Diego High School’s Journalism Program

March 2, 2026

The Alumni Association continues its support of student journalists as they build skills in reporting, storytelling, and media production.

San Diego High School’s journalism program gives students hands-on experience in reporting, storytelling, and media production.

Students in journalism and yearbook have worked toward opportunities to attend the Journalism Education Association convention, where they can learn from other student journalists, strengthen collaboration, and bring new ideas back to San Diego High.

The San Diego High School Foundation contributed $3,000 toward the effort, and the Alumni Association contributed $5,000 for the second year in a row.
